Cart recovery depends on reliable checkout data and an eligible recipient, not simply a timer. This is a neutral implementation checklist; no ready-to-run Repli cart-email integration was demonstrated.
Repli Email is an admin-only private beta. Creating an account or upgrading a plan does not unlock email sending. No public email allowance, price or launch date is offered here.
Your commerce system must define when a checkout counts as abandoned and supply an appropriate contact. A page view is not necessarily a cart, and an anonymous cart may have no usable email address. Confirm what your platform actually emits rather than assuming every shopper can be contacted.
Review the legal and platform basis for the message and honor opt-outs. A purchase or checkout field does not automatically authorize promotional mail. Keep sensitive customer details out of links and include only the product and checkout data that the source permits you to use.
The purchase event must be matched to the correct cart and person, and the reminder path must evaluate current state before any later send. Decide what happens when payment arrives while a message is already queued. A timer and an exit step alone do not prove immediate cancellation.
The inspected Repli email trigger/event lists do not establish a cart-abandon trigger or a named recovery recipe. Generic webhook enrollment does not establish a commerce bridge, restored checkout link or stop-on-purchase system. Those capabilities must be demonstrated separately, not advertised as shipped.
If your eligible email service provides a genuine recovery URL, test that it returns to the intended checkout and handles expired sessions safely. Do not invent stock, discounts, order totals or item availability. A missing product field should not be filled with a guess.
Keep cart reminders separate from order confirmations: one concerns an incomplete checkout, the other an actual transaction. No automatic discount creation, inventory synchronization, guaranteed delivery or recovered revenue is promised here. Repli Email is admin-only private beta.
An authorized commerce system reports an incomplete checkout with an eligible contact.
Verify the cart is still incomplete and the person still qualifies before each reminder.
Use a real, tested checkout link; only the commerce system can confirm the purchase.
Inspect abandonment timing, fields, recipient identity and permission.
Verify completed purchases, repeat events and already-queued messages are handled correctly.
Use actual checkout links and data, and leave missing facts out.
No dedicated cart-email trigger, ready-to-run recipe or end-to-end commerce delivery was established. This page is a planning checklist, not a commercial recovery offer.
Do not assume that. The correct purchase must reach the workflow, which must recheck its state and handle already-queued messages.
